About Upton Earlies and Upton Lates

We are very fortunate to offer a Breakfast Club and an After School Club facility at Upton St Leonards Primary School.

Upton Earlies runs from 7.45am to 8.50am with breakfast, or from 8.15am to 8.50am as a drop off facility.

Prices are:

From 7.45am with breakfast £4.50

From 8.15am drop off only £3.50

Upton Lates runs from after school to 4.30pm, 5.30pm, or 6pm with a healthy snack.

Prices are:

Until 4.30pm with a snack £7.00

Until 5.30pm with a snack £8.50

Until 6.00pm with a snack £10.00

Upton Lates Tea £2.40 (in addition to the above)

Upton Lates offer a tea for an additional charge of £2.40 per person per day. Although all children recieve a snack at Upton Lates, the Tea will consist of a more substantial meal for them. The Upton Lates Tea will need to be ordered on a Thursday in preparation for the following week.

Late pick up fees (10 minutes or more) will be charged at double the amount of the session cost. Please call forward in advance if you believe you are going to be late. The telephone number of Upton Lates is 07821 020 486.

The aims of the before and after school club are:

To increase the opportunities and support available to our school community
To offer a childcare facility in an environment which is familiar, safe and secure for our pupils
To develop children’s social skills and facilitate opportunity to learn through play

Special diets

Many children have allergies and intolerances so it is important that the school is informed. Parents/Carers are asked to supply a doctor or dietician’s letter stating the allergy or intolerance and what foods must be avoided.

Vouchers

We are now able to accept child care vouchers at Upton Earlies and Upton Lates.

We have registered with BusyBees, KiddiVouchers, Computershare and Childcare Voucher Schemes, you are able to find us using our school name, our postcode; GL4 8ED or our Ofsted Number 115658.

Please let us know if your company uses another voucher service and we can look into registering with them.

Complaints / Concerns Procedure

We try our best to ensure that all parents are happy with our extended care service, however we recognise there might be an occasion where we might get something wrong or there might be an area to improve.

Should you have any concerns, you must follow the below process.

Stage 1 - all intial concerns and complaints must go to the Extended Care Leader (Ms Possee) on [email protected]

Stage 2 - If you are still unhappy or feel like your issues have not been dealt with at stage 1 then you may raise a query with the School Business Manager, Mrs Naylor on [email protected]

Stage 3 - If you are still unhappy after stages 1 and 2, your complaint will then be escalated to a member of SMT (Mrs Broadbent, Mr Lewis or Mrs Bird).
