Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check - Year 4

All children in Year 4 take a Multiplication Tables Check in June to assess their understanding of times tables. There is no expected or 'pass' mark. The check has a total of 25 questions.

57% of children scored 24/25 or 25/25. The average score was 22/25.

Key Stage 1 Results - 2024

At the end of Year 2, all children take Y2 SATS tests. The SATS are no longer stautory at Year 2. We use the test, as well as assessment information from classroom teaching throughout the year, to decide on an End of Key Stage 1 Teacher Assessment Judgement. 

In reading, 73% of our children achieved the expected standard or better (no national data).

In writing, 68% of our children achieved the expected standard or better (no national data).

In maths, 81% of our children achieved the expected standard or better (no national data).

In phonics, 92% of our children achieved the expected score or better (national comparator was 80%).

12 children in Year 2 had to re-take the phonics check. 9 achieved the expected score or better so 57 out of 60 children (95%) left KS1 achieving the expected standard in phonics. 

Early Years - 2024

In EYFS, 76% of children achieved a Good Level of Development (GLD) (the 2023 national comparator was 67%).
