Extra-Curricular Clubs

At Upton, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs for all children to attend. All of our teaching staff run at least one extra-curricular club per school year. As well as this, we have Mr Morgan who runs a sports-based club each afternoon. We also have external companies who run clubs for us such as Chess and Dance clubs.

All of our clubs run from 3.20pm to 4.20pm and children are brought to the front of the school to be collected by parents and carers at 4.20pm.

As well as sporting-based clubs, we run musical clubs, drama clubs, reading clubs, arts clubs and much, much more. The vast majority of our clubs are free for children to attend but a small number carry a small charge - this is to cover the costs of the club or if it an external club, to pay for the member of staff.

Upton St Leonards School reserves the right to change or amend this plan at any time. We will also add clubs in terms 5 or 6 to target certain children who, by that point, have not yet attended a club. These clubs would be run on an 'invite-only' basis.
