We are proud to be recignised as an 'Embracing Thrive School'. We are proud to have been awarded our 'GHLL Mental Health Champions Award'.  We are proud to be working in continued partnership with Marijana F-C (Fostering Connections), learning how Neuro-Science, Child Development and Restorative Practice can improve outcomes for our children.

We are incredibly proud of our commitment to Inclusion. Driven by our Christian vision of our 'love of one another', part of the schools strategic planning for improvement over the past few years has been to develop cultures, policies and practices that include all learners.

We aim to foster a sense of community and belonging, and to offer new opportunities to all our learners, including those who may have previously experienced difficulties. This does not mean that we will treat all learners in the same way, but that we will respond to learners in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.

We believe that educational inclusion is about equal opportunities for all learners, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, impairment, attainment and background.

The school has a Thrive/Inclusion room called The Hub which is co-ordinated by the Inclusion Team for pupils to access Pastoral/SEMH support throughout the day. It is also open in the morning in order to support more vulnerable pupils’ transition into school.

The school has four Thrive Practitioners, with a view to training more staff and using the approach as a whole school strategy in the near future. Please see our Thrive page for further information

We have a Therapy Dog called Noah who visits our setting on a regular basis and take care of our own resident fish.
